Mr Richard Oliver

Richard G Oliver BDS MScD PhD LDS RCS(Eng) FDS RCS(Edin) ILTM is reader in Orthodontics, Director of the Dental Education Unit, and Honorary Consultant in Orthodentics at the School of Dentistry, Wales College of Medicine, Life and Health Sciences, Cardiff University and Cardiff Dental Hospital. He qualified in dentistry at The London Hospital Dental School and worked in practice in the UK and Canada before specialising in orthodontics at the School of Dentistry, Cardiff University. He was responsible for leading Cardiff's dental curriculum change between 1997 and 2005. He has also been involved in European dental education as a DentEd visitor and as an active member of the Association for Dental Education in Europe.  Richard was awarded the ADEE Certificate of Recognition of Excellence in Dental Education in 2005.
