Mr Mark Brennan

Mark Brennan BA(Hons) MA AKC DHMSA ILTM FRIPH is head of the Division of Clinical Education in the Kent Institute of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Kent at Canterbury.  He is also Honorary Associate Dental Dean in the Postgraduate Deanery for Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and a visiting senior lecturer at Cardiff University's School of Dentistry.  He qualified in medical ethics and law at King's College London. He was a member of the General Dental Council working group which produced guidelines for the education and training of dental care professionals in the UK.  Mark was a DentEd peer visitor to dental schools in Kaunas, Umea, and Sarajevo, and, as an active member of the Association for Dental Education in Europe since 1998, was awarded the ADEE Certificate of Recognition of Excellence in Dental Education in Athens in 2005.
